Winter Wonderhair...

It was hair today and the styles of tomorrow at the Mark Hill Boots event today! Shoppers were not only given one-on-one time with creative director Jules Holland, and stylist Elizabeth Andrews - but 50% off all electrical goods too!

Jules told me how they decided to offer the discount for a whole month to celebrate two new products; the Style and Go Travel Dryer and the Straight and Define Male Ceramic Styler. But did I hear right? Straightening irons for men? I asked Jules if these metro sexual times had really become so extreme we had to design straighteners for boys? "Yes! We've actually sold just as many straightening irons to men as we have women lately," says Jules. "The event has worked really well, it's a great to meet all our customers!"

And Elizabeth let me in on some of the hair trends we'll be trying this winter. "We're going to see a lot of soft curls and wavy hair," says Elizabeth. "We'll also be seeing a lot more of the short cropped style - but still in a soft, pretty way."

Just like me, girls were grilling the styling team on how to use the Mark Hill hair products and straightening irons. I have to say I was err blown away by all the hair talk - I'm going home to experiment!
