Newby Hands

Associate Editor/ Director of Health & Beauty, Harper’s Bazaar

After working in the music business and completing a buying course at Harrods, Newby moved into journalism.  After a year on the London Evening Standard she moved to the Daily Mail as Deputy Fashion Editor - a job that included everything from interviewing Margaret Thatcher and Dolly Parton to giving style tips on Acid House fashion and writing the first story on Botox.  After 12 years at Harper's Bazaar, she now has Botox herself and is still writing about it, along wit'h every other face cream, lipstick, spa and anti-ageing treatment that will interest Bazaar's beauty-hungry readers.

Newby's beauty must-have: My can't-live-without beauty secret has to be Dr Jean-Louis Sebagh. I wouldn't let anyone else do my Botox and he's the man who's keeping half of London looking 10 years younger.
