"There's no hard and fast rule as to how often you shampoo, it depends on individual hair types." Says Mark. "However you can alternate with a dry shampoo like Mark Hill Holiday Hair Dry Shampoo, which will cleanse the roots and revitalise your style between washes - and it doesn't leave a white residue."

Mark recommends that "If you suffer from dry ends and oily roots then make sure you only condition the mid and end lengths to help re-address the balance."  For thin hair Mark advises opting "for a leave-in conditioning spray rather than a cream to avoid weighing down the hair." He also recommends using "a dedicated shampoo and conditioner to suit your particular hair type for example De-Frizz for unruly and frizzy hair." And finally, "to avoid residue, it is essential to make sure you rinse the hair properly after applying conditioner."

So how do you get your Big Hair look?
"Volume and texture define the style and a big blow is a must-have to create a strong foundation. Spray all over with Mark Hill De Frizz Shine & Control Spray and reverse dry the hair away from the roots with a large radial brush to build height.  Add some velcro rollers around the crown area when the hair is almost dry for some extra lift."
